Neighborhood Parcel was founded in 2007 as an alternative to the other big box shipping retailers like FedEx Office and UPS stores. We never thought we would become a key player in the community. Our vision to be a vital part of the community evolved around “Paying It Forward” mantra, we give back to the community in every chance we get. From supporting Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence, or Soup kitchens like Lazarus House, to supporting the Boston Marathon Victim fund. People took notice of our competitive rates and the fact that we were a small business that was vested in the community.
When our CEO called another big company for shredding service of his old personal files, his experience was less than pleasant: His bill was twice as quoted over the phone, his driver was late and was in hurry. Feeling unappreciated and deceived, he thought of implementing a shredding service that can treat clients like he wants to be treated but most importantly: Fair, Honest and Transparent pricing. That was the beginning to our long journey to become the local leader in the Residential and Medical document shredding service industry.
